An Operatic, Music Theatre, and Italian Language Performance Program in the heart of Tuscany, Italy
The Siena Music Festival is proud to announce our inagural season in historic Siena, Italy, located in the heart of Tuscany. The program is designed to meet the needs of young artists seeking a professional career on the operatic, concert, and music theatre stage. Training at the Siena Music Festival is separated into two studios. The Opera Studio consists of vocal and musical coachings, master classes by visiting guest artists, professional management auditions, and complete operatic role performances. The Music Theatre Studio includes voice lessons, musical coachings, master classes, performance workshops, professional management, and Cabaret Performances. Both studios include conversational Italian study.
Imagine rehearsing and performing a role in Don Giovanni, La Boheme, Le Nozze di Figaro, or Idomeneo, and receiving daily instruction in conversational Italian, all while living in one of Italy's most beautiful cities.
The Siena Music Festival is the only comprehensive Italian Opera & Italian Language program of its kind. It is uniquely structured to recognize the importance of the Italian language in the development of young singer's careers, and the pedagogical benefits of performing complete roles while studying the nuances of the language you are performing in.
Also unique to the Siena Music Festival is our Music Theatre Studio, which provides participants that wish to enter into the Broadway field the opportunity to study and perform in Europe. Broadway theatre is quickly gaining popularity throughout Europe and opportunities with touring and production companies make a music theatre career in Europe a vialble option for many US singers.
